‘Ekopod has taken the best part of two years to research and design. When I started I felt that the common perception of green holidays suggested frugality and inconvenience. I could see there was an opportunity to create a holiday, which attempted to be fun, stylish, and comfortable while still being environmentally responsible. Trying to marry these three things has been by no means a simple process but I think we are getting there, if not, at least we are trying.

Having spent some time in Cornwall’s beautiful places clogged with cars we are also interested in how we can make car free holidays easy and attractive. I feel we have to encourage holidays without private cars, for many reasons not least to reduce our carbon footprint’
