The pod is perched on the edge of Bodmin Moor in 3 acres of wild flower meadow directly above the Old Vicarage, St Clether, between Camelford and Launceston. It is hidden in a small clearing amongst criss crossing paths cut amongst the natural ferns and wild flower meadow.

The site offers beautiful views of the rolling Cornish countryside around the River Inney valley, Roughtor and Brown Willy. The nearby wind farm at Cold Northcott provides a dramatic backdrop and is a reminder of the project’s eco approach. The secluded farmland is screened on three sides by woodland and bordered by a fast running moorland stream. The large meadow allows the pod to be set in it’s own private plot well away from civilisation.

The site is serviced from the Old Vicarage, a slate hung 17th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse, which has literary connections with Thomas Hardy. The house and its gardens, with over 200 flowering rhododendrons and azaleas, is a tranquil and enchanting place.
